We are so completely inept on getting a guy home in those situations. Time after time. Lead off triple and Buck dies there. We can't even hit a fly ball somewhere for a sac. It's pathetic.

Legend has it that Sir Rodney once stole Homebase 7 times in one season. Wouldnt it be something if Buck took the measure of some of these hut h-gitchy windups and ripped off a few home steals. A lost artform if you ask me.

It’s not in the computer or in the gut of this generation of gutless generation of MLB

Carew would have had 20 plus steals of home a season if the shifts we see today were used then. Buxton should definitely steal home in those situations.

No way Gray should stay in here, regardless. ICE ICE BABY!

Maybe to let him give up a couple more hits/runs while trying to be macho. I get him out of there.

Hmmmmmmmmm

What a waste of a game by the manager......

No legend, it's a truth.  Yours truly saw at least 2 of them at Met stadium.  I did miss the one, where rodney broke for the plate, and Harmon was at bat.  Killebrew missed the sign, but luckily didn't swing.
