I think yesterday shows why I'm so high on adding and Ace. I love what Ryan has done this year but in an ideal world he's your #2 or #3 pitcher on a contending rotation. 

Let's worry about next years depth or "to many pitchers" next year. Find an Ace now when you have a team and figure the rest out next year. Show Correa your willing to make moves to win now and maybe that sits better with him and adds to the hope he resigns.

Correa resigning isn't about his willingness to play here, it's the Twins' willingness to pay here. The Twins are not going to come up with $150MM+ for Correa.

And Correa isn't going to want to play on a team that he doesn't think is serious about winning.
