in 1888 Pretzels pitched over 400 innings,

With 44 CG in 45 starts. Six straight seasons at 330+ innings, from age 21 to 26. Guess what, he pitched another 206 innings and was done by 28.

So we still have a choice?

correction........ I guess the change of innings takes away any requirement at all, even if said pitcher continues and starts the next inning, he can only face one if wanted.

Good thing Thielbar saved the gopher ball for this inning and not with the bases sacked!

Because he couldn't get out of doing his chores anymore. 5 years of frittering away his life for this nonsensical game Der Americans spiel

Pretzels would of been a Twins fan favorite, he only k 202 in them 400+ innings,  pretzel to contact

Safer with the super-dead ball of the era.

Joe Smith remains NAILS. Really hope they let him take the 8th, but I don't think we've seen him go up and down once this season. If he doesn't, you're probably looking at Cano or Stashak, or throwing Duran/Pagan/Duffey/Jax on b2b days. One of those guys is likely going to be tasked with the 9th if the lead holds, and I imagine that'll be Duran.

Long as Ryan has his, i'm content.

On a side note does anyone know about a dictionary of rhythm?

Bump.

This is actually a serious question someone asked me recently, and i didn't know of one.

For better context, if i didn't know what a rumba was, this could tell me.

Time to tag on 5 runs and it won't matter!

Everyone knows what a rumba is.

It's what occurs when there's a serious disagreement between the Sharks and the Jets.

From what I gather on the radio Kepler was actually trying to steal second base... leading to a passed ball? People are bunting (or at least trying)? There are sac bunts and sac flies? What is happening to this team? I guess this is how you win when your stars can no longer hit.

I have really liked Smith. He seems like the ideal guy to use in extra innings.
