corresponding roster move when Dozier got traded.

So the new extreme of the shift has been set. Dozier has shifted so far on an opponent that he's on a different field. Got it. :)

I do not understand Taylor Motter, he of the career .575 OPS, playing over Jake Cave.

It makes no sense for a contending team, it makes no sense for a non-contending team. If Molitor is going to use Motter for anything more than a late-inning laugher mop-up guy, than Falvine needs to DFA him now.

Don't have a RH 4th OF, just like all season long minus one week of LaMarre hitting well.

I would imagine it's that Motter bats RH'd. The opposing starter, Borucky, is LH'd.

Also, don't be discouraged by Motter's .000/.118/.000 batting line. That .118 OPS is a full .440 below his career numbers!

He's a prime candidate for positive regression!

Seriously just want Molitar gone at this point. Either try to win or give the youngsters playing time. Starting Wilson and Motter does neither.

Cheer up, Charlie! It's just 2 out of the 9 players in the lineup.

They shouldn’t be traded. Like Rocket said the return will be pathetic.

Trade em, don't trade em. I don't care anymore either way. Both are likely moving onto greener pastures this winter, so if it makes some feel better to get something for them, go for it.

Yep. Why see what he has to offer now when you can 60 day DL him and have the same scenario in 2019?

???

Not sure you can see what he has to offer now if he's headed to the 60 day. Means he won't be better anytime soon.

That was the joke... Kicking the can down the road. Putting off decisions on fringe players until next season... Sarcasm.
