I’ve been out and caught the second innning on my phone. Does anyone know why Monitor left Odorizzi for that entire second inning? I understand not wanting to overtax the bullpen but leaving him in basically means losing the game in the second inning. I’ve defended Molitor in the past, but that inning is simply

inexcusable. Bad, bad managing.

I know your phone autocorrected, but I laughed when I pictured a lizard managing the team

Also, now you guys see why I keep talking about trading odorizzi. He simply isn’t good enough at this stage to be starting on a contending team. Now, our only hope is to try to get him straightened out at AAA. If he has options, send him down today. Call up Mejia or Gonsalves. If he doesn’t, put him in the bullpen. Odorizzi Cannot be in the rotation.

Yes yes yes yes, can’t seriously convince me Gonsalves or Mejia would be worse than this.

It's time to admit this thing is over and statt considering trade options.

Lynn, Dozier, Morrison, Rodney, Reed, Duke, and Odiorizzi should all be actively shopped. I would take any kind of return on all of those guys, don't have to picky.

I think it would also be wise to test the market for Escobar, Gibson, Kepler, and Rosario. I wouldn't be inclined to move those guys, but you may get the proverbial offer you can't refuse.

There is no real core here to build around. Nobody should be off limits. IMO, it's time to commit to that.

Gonsalves isn’t ready yet, unless you’d like to watch him walk two guys an inning. I do think Mejia is ready.

With our two “cornerstones” being gigantic question marks, it might come to that, unfortunately

After that, the Twins are going to purchase Saints and put them in Twins uniform.

Slegers is pitching today for the Wings, and would line up perfectly with an Odorizzi trip to the DL.

Based on recent outings, including last night, not sure if Gonsalves is quite ready yet.

That is why the Twins signed Morrison.

To hit homeruns against scrubs.

Yeah, somehow he got only 8 of them although he has been trying to hit a homer every at bat.

I can't remember a big hit he got off a good pitcher. It's pretty obvious he feasted on some low tier pitchers last year resulting in his big year.
