A friend of mine used to keep Far Side calendars like that on his coffee table.  When he'd bring dates over, he'd leave to go fix them something and hoping they'd look at the calendar and read it.  If they laughed, he'd say they were worth keeping around for awhile.  If they didn't, or had blank looks on their faces, that would be the last date.

 

True story.

Women seemed to think so.  And, in fairness, they didn't know they were being tested.  Have you ever known anyone to be able to resist reading a Far Side calendar?

 

Mostly, he wanted a woman with some intelligence.  He's pretty much a genius but with social skills.

On a positive note,   Dick informs us that Jepsen has given up hits and runs far more efficiently the past few outings,   keeping his pitch count low and enabling him to pitch more often...
