All I did was sit on the couch for 5 hours and 56 minutes. Actually... I was watching Leicester vs Swansea before at 10:00AM, so it was more like 8 hours and 30 minutes on the couch. But... damn it..

I really like the way Nunez takes professional at bats.  I'm glad he's producing now that he's getting a chance.  He's fun to watch, easy to cheer for, and representing well for the so called expendable replacement level veterans.

 

I'm with you

 

He gets spit on a lot and I honestly don't see the reason why.

That's my point though. There should never be a stupidly wrong. Just like I cannot abide by pitches right over the middle called as balls or pitches 8"outside called as strikes. It should not happen. Glad they got that one right though.

All the thrilling excitement of video challenge aside, and notwithstanding Park's good recovery to juggle and hold onto the ball, this play was an example while I'm not completely totally 100% fully sold on Escobar as a defensively solid shortstop.

If he can replicate his offensive numbers from recent years I'm fine with what he can do in the field.

Intentionally walking Joe Mauer to face Sano. Tis a strange world we live in, this 2016.

That was a no brainer. Taking Nunez crazy BABIP out of the equation, Mauer is the only guy on this team to currently fear.

Danny Santana with the luckiest 15 minutes in the history of sports:

 

1. not charged with throwing error previous inning

2. credited with base hit on clearly booted ground ball

3. picked off first but ruled safe, survives a replay that showed pretty clear he was out

4. awarded second base on a balk

 

You can't make it up. Maybe he is the good luck charm the Twins need!

Yeah that was pretty lucky.

 

But the luckiest 15 minutes goes to the time Oris Nixon, the ugliest human ever, stole Sugar Ray Leonard's wife, Juanita.
