Well, see, RB's game intro referenced crabby.  And then blue crabs.

So North, being clever, made a "crabby" reference, tying his comment back to the intro.  "Blue," of course, is another way of saying "sad."

So....crabby, and blue.

Blue crabs.

Blue crabby.

Or something like that.  I thought it was funny.  Maybe I overthought it.

Actually, no, it was pretty good. I'm just culturally stunted. I googled blue crab, which brought up the wiki disambiguation page, and it's apparently the Maryland state crustacean.

This gives added depth and resonance to a running gag i had not hitherto understood.

I'm sorry i was so lazy.

I like Glynn better than whoever was 3 base coach a few years ago.  Was that Vavra a couple years ago?  He had no idea when to send a runner home.

Scott Ullger?   He waved runners from third to the dugout on several occasions, and once sent another on a highly illegal human organ courier trip to Hong Kong.

Oh, congrats on 12k.

Wasn't paying attention. Did ya do aught to celebrate it or mark the occasion?

If it's the latter, there's a company that makes several products to both prevent and clean up after...

Do we nick name folk?

Would Mr. Gong show be apt for an adept with the hook?

I like "Extra E" because of Duffey, which usually has one less e at the end. It also reminds me of line from a urine fetish ad in New York: "The extra E is for extra pee!"

Or we could call him Captain Hook or something, true... Dr. Hook?

That is correct David. We do shag them sometimes. It can get awful lonely on that god forsaken island. We also eat them, along with penguins. You can only eat so much fish, and the fish of the South Indian Ocean is nothing to write home about.

But the Grouper Loaf of the Diego Garcia Expat Club is not to be missed if you're in the neighborhood.  Wash it down with a bottle of Nature's Miracle...

I've been there my friend. I didn't have much of an appetite. I was part of the group of scientists that had to examine the dead bodies of missing flight MH370. The extraterrestrials did quite a number on them.
