Article: Game Thread: Twins v Rangers, 8/11 @ 7:10pm CT

I think he has to be considered a finalist for the Cy Young award, because our offense would eviscerate anyone of a lesser quality.  I suppose there is some minimal chance they are having an off day offensively, but that does not seem likely.

I just hope our bullpen shuts them down the rest of the way. One more insurance run and it's out of reach.

Actual true story...we are in the midst of a thunderstorm so severe I lost the TV signal.

CBU's please.

The Twins still down 2-0 and O'Rourke on the mound. This has been a Circus Boy Update

Remember to conserve that water from the thunderstorm... it's all you'll get for 3 more years.

Who is this "Guy Yardoh" feller anyway?  Sheesh.  Never even heard of him and he's got a shutout into the 6th.

I reckin' he's one of those Cy Young types, Chief. You sure that's how you say his name? Looks like Guh Lardo to me. Daniels is always fixin' to change the rotation. Fight Texas, fight!

Texas was the epitome of the Wild Wild West, yet some our best gunslingers, murders and train robbers came from the great Midwest! Jesse James, Wild Bill, Billy da Kid, and Cole Younger and his brothers. After Northfield some of the Younger brothers not only did not get any younger, they didn't get any older! I don't even think the Earp boys and Doc Holliday were Texans! Name me one decent criminal that came from Texas?

People remember the Lakers moving to LA and the North Stars moving to Dallas, but for some reason forget about when the Hibbing Iron Rangers moved to Texas.  Bob Dylan's grandfather was on the team.

This is my new favourite fact.  I'm late to the party, but glad I showed up.  Bless you D.H.

They never had a chance  because Chuck Norris would stop them, even before he was born.
