Potential song titles written by Bert:

"HOF"
"The Ugly City, Detroit Detroit"
"I F'd this up"
"Let's do this F'in thing again"
"Circle Me Babe" - every band needs a love song

Others?

I know a couple of chords... I'm definitely writing a song called "I F'd this Up/Let's do this F'in thing again".

If you want to get rid of ear worm, start singing the Hawaii 5-0 theme song. Works every time.

Heh....  growing up in ND, my friend's dad used to wow us by telling us he was the 4th guy in the boat on the closing credits.  "See that guy, number 4 in the row with the paddle?  That's your old man..." (sips beer, kids in awe)

I see we're playing the Rangers.  Texans are very culterally literate, as a rule.

Way too long to get to the punchline. Creative signs like that cause serious accidents, and doubles my commute.

I think the show was filmed in Wahpeton.

What I mainly remember of Texas. Besides losing my shorts at Shillterbahn in New Braunfels.

Was: MY GOD!!! There is a State Flag Everywhere.

That is still true. I could look outside the bedroom window at my last apartment and see a TX state flag waving proudly. It was big enough to be viewed from the International Space station in my estimation.

They have big large flags flying in all bathroom stalls.

Only by people who flunked Phonics in second grade. Tuck-son, obviously.

Thank goodness for the hyphen.    If it's a comma instead then it's two words you never want to hear from your cellmate.

I remember Staying on So Padre Island and the woman at the motel told me how lucky I was to be there when I was. I asked why? She said cuz next week all the college kids were there, music, noise, drunk guys, girls taking off their shirts! I asked if my room could be extended a week! :)

If I had to live in Texas and could choose anywhere in the state. It would be either be Austin or the Gulf Coast.

ND is known for its high Polynesian population.  I believe it is the highest outside of Winnipeg.

As a kid - Hawaii 5-0 was past my bedtime.  I used to thing the wave was so cool, I would sneak out of my bedroom to  catch a glimpse of it going into commercial breaks.  Back in the olden days kids did not need an i-phone or game boy to be entertained.
