Didn't Price have like 87 pitches through 4 innings, now he is at only 104 and surely will be out for the 8th if not the 8th and 9th? When his pitch count is that high, you have to make it a priority that you get him out of the game after 6 innings.

I wonder if Carlos Gomez makes the Astros feel Sexy? Or if Troy Tulozwitzki and David Price make the Jays feel Sexy.

Depends on the lighting, maybe?

But hey, Twins fans got Kevin Jepsen, the trade deadline's Sweat Pants and Pint of Hagen Daz..

The Twins coaching staff seems to maniacally adhere to the 100 pitch limit for their own pitchers, while steadfastly refusing to consider other teams might do the same, and have the hitters take a few more pitches.

What happened, now? Can't tell on Gamecast.....other than, you know, boyer stinks. And is still on the roster. And is playing over May and Jepsen. Nice job, manager ......

May hasn't gone back to back days. This actually seemed like a perfect opp for Jepsen, somewhat low leverage, a bunch of righties etc.

If you played Let's Make a Deal with opposing teams and offered them a chance to face Boyer to start an inning or forfeit the inning in exchange for a run, would it even matter to them what the game situation was?

Yes, his ERA is below 9, but wouldn't almost any team right now, under almost any circumstances, have a go at Boyer instead of exchanging the inning for a free run?

Couldn't you substitute the name Duensing in the above post and have the exact same expected answer?
