His career spanned 10 years and 2 decades.. but only played a total of three years in the Majors

Made his MLB debut with the Twins in 1994. Never returned again to the majors until with the Twins again in 2003 and a few games in 2004.

Next opponent: Rangers

Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez

I'll stick with the Rangers and throw out Ken Caminiti.

And although Buddy Bell has already been named, I can't help but think of Buddy Bell when I think of the Rangers. Specifically, I think of the time I was sitting in the lower deck left field seats at the Metrodome with a sightline just above the plexiglass, when Buddy Bell hit a hooking rope of a home run. It started to my left, and ended up three seats to my right in the aisle where it made direct contact with the nose/upper teeth of a boy about my age (maybe 12 at the time) who was carrying 2 malt cups in each hand. The malt cups went flying and the ball ricocheted about 5 rows back down and further right, where a man caught it and celebrated. Meanwhile, a responsible adult hollered at the nearest Coke vendor and proceeded to pour cup after cup of ice onto this kid's mashed face while he bled all over the steps. What a sight.

Anyway, Ken Caminiti.

How about a theme to get things going...

Alphabetical order per post, former or current Twins who has their first and last name start with the same letter.

If no letter (Q, X, etc) for any player, go on to next letter.

If there is not a Twin with a particular letter, then select an non-Twins player

I'll start with "A"

Allen Anderson

Twins have had plenty of double "B's" in recent years... select a good one!

Legion baseball, summer of 1982, playing in a tournament in (I believe) Cloquet.  It was so foggy that the opposing center fielder told us, after the game (as both teams were staying at the same hotel), that he took a leak in center field during an inning because no one could see him, and, anyway, their starting pitcher had things well in hand.  Brainerd pitcher - me vs Bemidji pitcher Bryan Hickerson 1991- 95 with Giants, Cubs and Rockies.

"F" and "I" have been skipped because there are have been no Twins players with those initials.  That brings us to "J" and I'll go with the immortal Jake Jacobs, the man of 10 career plate appearances (8 with the Twins).

It looks like we'll need to skip "K" and "L" also.  Who has an "M"?
