Willing to share some info, TD?

I've been curious how the site numbers compare this winter with the in-season numbers,

 

It seems like the discussion topics have been pretty active (although you don't get the long game threads).

 

Just a little curious,

 

Also, should the Twins get back to winning, will that be good or bad for TD?  Seems like complaining usually draws more posters but it has been so long since Twins fans have had something good to talk about, it is hard to remember -- maybe the number of posts in the minor league forum is a good sign of things to come.

It will be good for Twins Daily if the Twins start winning again. The site continues to grow year over year but it's hard not to see the fan apathy seeping into the community. Long-time posters have dropped out of the site and I think winning will bring some of them back into the fold. It's hard to see the same crap for 3-4 years in a row and not throw up your hands and go mow the lawn or something.

 

Hell, just seeing Buxton and/or Sano should invigorate the fanbase quite a bit. That has been even more disappointing to me than the losses. We've seen some decent prospects come through the system but the big guns are still in the minors.

I enjoyed the post about the busiest days on the site in 2014... are those the busiest days the site has had since inception? Or were some of the 2013 days in the running as well?

While there is plenty of negativity about a 90+ loss team, the constantant negativity about anything the Twis have done over the years since Ryan started  is enough to drive people away. Winnig wil not cure that as the" but the Twins haven't won anything  but crummy Central division titles" crowd dominate the board

Agreed!! The one silver lining in the year delay may be that since the hot prospect pitchers are also still in the minors, with some of them multiple levels away, Buxton and Sano will play with them longer before their free agency comes.

Agreed 110%!!! Hopefully a few down years by the Twins will mellow out that crowd and they'll be happy when the Twins win again.
