Fantasy Football Draft

I'm drafting in a league that allows you to play 3 QB's each week. Should I still draft RB/RB with my first two selections, or should I worry about player scarcity at QB and attack that position with my first QB pick in the 2nd round?

Any advice for a draft strategy with this format? Obviously drafting K and D last are obvious moves, but shees, 3 QB's in a 12 team league? Things are going to be kooky.

You should never go RB/RB your first two selections in modern FFB regardless of how many QBs your league allows.  That said, I would perhaps see 3 going in the first 10-15 picks, another 3 going in the next 10 picks, and then likely a huge run on them around the 40ish pick in the draft.  3 QBs is a weird setup for a league.  I'd hope that is brought up for a league vote before you play next year because that means at least 4 teams are rostering backup quarterbacks with only 32 starters even out there in the NFL.  I've played in every sort of league out there in 20+ years of fantasy football, but 3 QBs is a new one, and frankly, an unsustainable one to say the least.

With the state of RB.....I'm not so sure about that rule. WR is the new RB and the rules have flipped IMO.

That said, unless I was able to get two of the top 4 receivers, I'd likely not go WR/WR, but I do agree that once you're past the first 5-7 running backs, there are a ton of questions and time shares.

Yup, that's why if you have a chance to land one of the top 8 (Charles, Lecoy, Peterson, Lacey, Forte, Murray, Bernard, Lynch) - you take them.  There are receivers not even being taken in standard 12 team formats that I feel more comfortable about predicting than the rest of the RB field.

You PLAY three every week? that's bizarre....

I quit FF last year, after being in it since the days you had to vote on which newspaper was the "official" newspaper for stats for your league........I don't miss it much, other than this time of year.

You need two legit good QBs in that setup. Need it. You don't want to be starting two guys that are bad (not knowing how QBs are scored).....
