John Bonnes and Nick Nelson look back to an overview of the 2001 season, the final with Tom Kelly as the skipper, and the first winning season for the Twins since 1992. The Twins saw many of their young players emerge into a core that would help power the team through the next half-decade: Corey Koskie, Torii Hunter, Doug Mientkiewicz, and many other household names in Twins Territory broke out this season and nearly broke Cleveland's long-running dominance of the American League Central division.
