The Minnesota Twins signed Joey Gallo to a one-year, $11 million deal. The Twins already had a number of left-handed hitting outfielders, so this appears to set up another trade. We’ll see. Here’s my quick reaction to the move.

Nice info on the video.  IMO a total waste of resources.  By mid season or earlier people will boo him more than they did Sano. Yes he's a decent fielder but an awful offensive player.  He may homer once in a while but not worth 11 mil.  They way over spent.  I believe this makes him the third highest paid Twin at this point behind Buxton and Gray.  Another typical, albeit strange move by Falvey.  He really needs to go.

So $11M for one year of Gallo makes sense, but two year deals at a total of $15M for established bullpen pitchers are beyond reach?  What am I missing?

Had opportunity for Boxberger in our Pen coming off 30 holds in ‘22……but nooo……..signed Joey Gallo. Hard to believe!!

Gotta sign Eovaldi & a RP like Fulmer. Eovaldi bumps Maeda to the Pen and with an acquisition, we’re solid even with the Gallo debacle.

They gotta be getting decent offers for Walner or Larnach, maybe Kepler because somebody has to go!!!!
