Nelson Cruz received a warm welcome back to Minnesota and crushed a home run in his first game against the Twins since being traded to Tampa Bay. Brent Rooker was 4-for-5 with a home run in that game and Michael Pineda left with an injury. Lewis Thorpe had an encouraging outing with the St. Paul Saints that could put him in line to replace Big Mike.
