Murphy traded to Diamondbacks

Well, he's got good numbers, but didn't even make the "other guys" list on FG this year, coming into the year.

edit to add:

I approve of trading guys you don't believe in, taking up 40 man roster space, for younger players that are lottery tickets.

mlbpipeline had him as Arizona's #25 prospect -

"Signed back in March 2012, Moya has pitched almost exclusively as a reliever, save for one summer in Rookie ball in 2014. While he moved slowly to start his career, with two summers each in the Dominican Summer and Pioneer Leagues, he's picked up steam since, going from Class A to Double-A and dominating over the past two seasons.

Typically relievers don't have four quality pitches to use, but Moya does, allowing him to be effective against both righties and lefties and to pitch multiple innings. While his fastball grades out as average, it can play up because of deception and his ability to command it. His changeup is his best secondary pitch, but he can also use his slider as a weapon and will mix in a curveball as well.

Moya has been an effective closer in the Minors, especially in Double-A during the 2017 season. His stuff might be a bit short to handle that role in the big leagues, but he's looking more and more like a future lefty setup man."

Sounds good to me, have to love those numbers!

Per his MLB bio:

He's only 6', but I wonder if the Twins brass might see if he can start. I'll take those numbers in any role though.

If he's a good RP, use him as a RP. They need those just as badly. Stop messing with success.
