Let's try crowd-sourcing a story on tall pitchers

I'm facing 12 hours of driving over the next two days to see away games in Jupiter and Clearwater, but would like to try doing a story on tall starting pitcheres. So I thought we would try something. I need 21 interested volunteers to spend about 20-30 minutes researching one of the guys below. Here's how it would work:

1. Reply to this in the forum, "reserving" your player. Just say "I'll take XXXX"

2. Click on this google form and fill it in for that player:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1-SqVJKy7vmutRslR0t83ncULlnCC6iJ4ISfjxKp3Fiw/viewform?usp=send_form

The data on that player is mostly "fill in the blank" and can be found on baseball-reference.com and filled in within five minutes. But there is one field asking for a 50-word or so synopsis of his career. You might want to give a quick "google" search for that and it's why I said you might need 20-30 minutes.

My goal is to take all the info entered into the google forms and download it into a story and credit everyone who did work on it. But one way or the other, we'll share the info we gathered. You're being a great help and this could lead to some exciting work by this community, so THANK YOU in advance for your help.

Who's game? Here are the names for you to reserve below. Make sure you check to see if anyone else has reserved the name before you do. Here is the list of all pitchers who are at least 6' 7" and have made at least 100 starts in the majors:

Randy Johnson 603
CC Sabathia 423
Aaron Harang 352

Incidentally, you left off a potentially very interesting case study, J R Richard, 6'8",  who had 221 career starts by the age of 30, when his career was tragically cut short.

17, if we include Gene Conley from the 50s and early 60s.  I remember him with the Red Sox pitching against the Yankees. Won world titles in basketball (Boston) and baseball (Milwaukee).

I'll take him if he's on the list, Ben McDonald if not.
