  1. We are 67 during the day in winter, 62 at night (thermostat downstairs, bedroom upstairs). We have daycare in the house during the day, so we have to maintain a minimum of 65. In the summer it is generally set to 74 days and 72 at night. If it isn’t too humid though, we’ll shut it off and open windows.
  2. Not that I believe gameday is gospel, but they posted consecutive pitches by Lynn at 88 MPH. One they called a change up, the other a two seam fastball. If that isn’t wrong, that’s concerning to say the least.
  3. That’s okay. From what I understand, Boy George swings his tail in both directions anyway...
  4. It would be unlucky if your wedding was scheduled to be outside. Or, if you wanted some pictures outside. No reason they wouldn’t play IMO. They are probably regretting the decision to have this be a night game though.
  5. Rain on your wedding day would be bad luck. Rain on your wedding day after a week of sunshine filled days would be ironic.
  6. This, exactly Sure, Fernando Romero is waiting. But his IP will likely be limited again this year anyway. (150 or so probably). So, it’s not a big deal if he gets a late start. Like to see Gonsalves get 160 at least this year.
  7. Former Twin David McCarty threw left and batted right. Several former pitchers did, of course almost none of them got 100 at bats, let alone 1000. Charlie Leibrandt threw left and batted right.
  8. Without looking at actual game by game attendance data, I’d wager attendance is actually better during the weekday day games. There certainly aren’t going to be many families out until 10:30 on a school night. There’s a reason they call those games “business man’s specials”. I suspect there might be some dealing going on over beers, brats and baseball.
  9. Not if the lefties actually hit lhp. Rosario has been fine in that regard. Kepler got off to a good start. For his career, Morrison hits rhp for more power, but avg is about the same. And against lefty starters, his numbers are better yet. Point being, he isn’t an automatic out vs lhp either.
  10. Looks like Kyle has returned to the Dark Side. Everything is being left up.
  11. I’m not sure what Minnespolis got for snow in March. Winona got about 3 inches. We got about 9 since yesterday. There are expected to be several new record lows recorded in the next few days, with overnight lows in the teens and single digits. Not temperatures below average. Temperatures below RECORD LOWS. The weather this week isn’t just bad, it is historically poor. **** happens. Deal with it as best as possible and move on. btw, in 1991 the daily highs for April 5, 6 and 7 were set in Minneapolis: in the 80s.
  12. Remember, the Twins were better on the road than at home last year.
  13. There’s an open space on the bench that Harrison can now grab.
