  1. I think everyone has already forgiven him for failing badly last year. I hope he does well, but what is well. Six innings, with a couple of runs. Strikeouts are boring besides that they're fascist. Let just keep winning.
  2. Theres playing aggressive and there is playing without a concern for the team. A mistake in the first 4-5 innings is one thing, A MAJOR mistake in the 9th inning of a game you have a chance to win is something else. My biggest complaint about Rosario is that he always wants to be the hero. He never does things for the team. When the Twins need a bunt, he should be lifted for a pinchhitter. He doesn't want to do that. He won't hit behind the runner when there is a guy on 2B. I will say he has a lot of talent and I hope those things can be corrected because he needs to play next year.
  3. Agree with the announcers putting the hex on Buxton. Today they did it to Dozier and Buxton both after their first 2 AB's. I wish they would talk about how poorly Mauer is everytime he is up, maybe he will start hitting better.
  4. Just catching up, but how can Berrios be having a good outing. Five runs in five innings with 9 HITS. Let's try to raise our expectations like we do for the other #4&5 guys.
  5. And Dozier laughs as he swings at that pitch. The reason this team competed last year for most of the season was because of a veteran like Hunter. No one left to call out the young guys in public and the old guys in the locker room. Pathetic. Need a veteran presence for next year.
  6. Again nice AB Grossman. Just try to hit a HR every time up. How about putting a ball in play. From Grossman that is even worse. He should know better.
  7. Rosario should be benched after that. Might have been the AB by him all season. The young guys do not take very many professional AB's anymore. Only worried about themselves. Tired of that attitude.
  8. And last year at trade deadline half of the bloggers thought the Twins could throw Kepler in to get a quality pitcher. I mean we had Hicks, Hunter, Arcia, Schafer, Robinson, and Walker and Buxton coming. No need for the German who might be able to hit.
  9. Well Kepler and Rosario are having good starts here. Now Berrios just trust his stuff and throw. If they hit it, so what, at least hit a pitchers pitch (Bert saying). But he looks like he nibbled all through the inning. Falling behind and then having to throw over the middle on hitters counts.
  10. Hope Berrios gets out of the first inning. Reminds me of first 4 starts.
  11. I hope it is Danny. I don't want to watch Rochester 2.0 play. Need MLB ready pitchers. Tommy Millone in two years at Rochester has an ERA 1.50 in 12 starts with a WHIP under 1. We don't have any of those stats from pitchers at Rochester with maybe Berrios, but he is not going to win 15+ games for a couple of years. They need to keep at one quality starter. Twins can compete next year. I also hope i am wrong about Berrios. Better defense and less strikeouts and Twins are close. But starting pitching has been a disaster.
