ooh, good question!  Chocolate chip cookie dough probably has to be my favorite flavor.  

Favorite brand is more difficult.  Edy's Slow Churned is fantastic!  Izzy's for the local flare.  Their shops have closed, but you can still get it in the grocery store.  I have to avoid both of them most of the time.  They don't last long in the house!

I think the answer should be 'yes'. My 'go to' flavor for a long time was B&J's coffee heath bar crunch, but then it changed and not as good, at all. (They stopped using Heath Bars.) Now I don't see it. But, having grown up with a DQ sign flashing across a large open field into my bedroom window for years growing up, I love DQ still. But if you ever get down to Fort Myers for ST, stop in at Sun Harvest for a key lime/chocolate twist cone

DQ is hard to beat.  Lots of DQ runs after a baseball game while growing up.  I have had the chance to stop at Sun Harvest once while I was in Ft. Myers one year.  Don't recall what flavor it had, but I remember it being good.  It's been a few years since I've been able to make it to spring training, but that place is definitely on the list of places to go back to.
