    Lol you guys are hilarious. Twins are on a 100 win pace even with all the injuries and you guys are in here whining and talking **** about the guy who won the Manager of the Year award last year and is in his 2nd season. Talk about overreactions.

    Actually LF had graded out as his best position over the last few years. Kepler in CF, slide Rosario and his strong arm to RF and put Marwin in LF. Obviously not ideal, but manageable.

    No, it is just a case of you undervaluing advanced statistics and using traditional stats that support the narrative that you want to be true. .276/32/110 is not a bad season, but when that comes with a .300 on base percentage in an era of inflated offense those traditional stats carry less weight.

    He only played 18 innings at 3rd last year and didn't play any third after being promoted to Pensacola. He played the majority of his innings at 2nd with some time in LF as well.

    He has tons of power though, so that's not even a remotely accurate portrayal of his skillset.

    We are talking about money relative to production, not simply a lump sum of money. In that regard Max was underpaid.

    I'd assume it would be due to positional difference.

    One was drafted 28th overall and threw 372.2 innings in 3+ minor league seasons. He threw more innings in the minors than the bigs in 2018. Has one real major league season under his belt. The other was a 5th round pick who has thrown 227.2 innings in 4 minor league seasons. He's 21. If he makes the roster next year at 22 I think we will be just fine.
