Apostle43's Achievements

  1. "We could have 5 guys with Major League experience pitching here on Opening Day". I'm liking that quite bit. We Rochester Red Wing fans have long understood that our town is a place for young ball players to develop and winning comes after that. But we love rooting for a winning team as much as anyone. So having a terrific pitching staff is 75% of the battle won. You folks in Minnesota should know, though, win or lose, baseball games at Frontier Field in Rochester NY are always fun and affordable and we appreciate the fine work of the Red Wings front office!
  2. Honestly guys, this site is great. Almost as good as the MLB Twins site, maybe better. The site is packed with the latest information from both the regular bloggers and the comments. Thank you for the time and efforts put in by all who have contributed. And GO TWINS ... and GO RED WINGS too (grin).
  3. Just because Brian Dozier is unlikely to make the starting Twins' roster is no reason to give the poor kid an "F". Hopefully Brian's self esteem will not be bruised (grin).
  4. Tory Hunter must be very proud of the man he groomed to be the next Twins center fielder. Denard Span is another big reason to be optimistic about this coming season.
  5. Whether you are a Twins fan or not, you have to just love Justin Morneau. He is one class act. His dedication to the game was shown by the work he put in this past off season. What a shame if the concussion symptoms return and this star player is forced to retire early.
  6. You wrote, "As a matter of fact, that lineup, minus Revere, might be the Rochester Red Wings starting lineup." Very, very cool. I can't wait. It will be much easier for my kids to get Brian Dozier's autograph in Rochester than it will be for you to get it in Minnesota (grin).
  7. Wow, I appreciate it! That is quite a compliment!

  8. Can't wait to see you play at the AAA level in Rochester. No disrespect to the Twins, but there have been some rather error-prone people playing the middle infielder positions in recent years. The Wings could use a talented and gutsy leader out there for once. Hope you make it!
