  1. Professionally, we've always used "reversion to the mean" regardless of direction (out-performance or under-performance)
  2. Yes. And the solution is obvious - if they were smart they would trade prospects and MLB level players for other prospects and other MLB level players
  3. I can call success whatever I want to. If the Twins make the playoffs adn I am alive at the end of the season, I'm happy.
  4. A thoughtful article and well written but why would anyone think you were out to dunk on anyone who put out opinions or analysis that shed a negative light upon Rosario this winter? Seem like all opinions should be able to co-exist here and such a disclaimer should be unnecessary.
  5. Seth, thanks for the reminder on Olsen. Looking forward to seeing his progress.
  6. I think you may have said this previously, but I am interested in your source. Most things I have seen have been, as best, educated guesses.
  7. I love this deal! And the best part is when the deal is finalized it means that the Dodgers had no problems with the medical info, putting the lie to the Cheating Sox claims. Hopefully also silencing their bandwagon fans who try to explain how baseball works, even though they aren't aware that the game existed before 2004.
  8. Seem to me that the Dodgers would be more interested in young bats than almost MLB ready pitchers. Getting the cheating Sox out of the process may benefit the Twins.
  9. 100% convinced that the bullpen is good enough, and deep enough, to be an asset.
  10. Passion is the Philadelphia excuse for throwing snowballs at Santa. Pure BS
