  1. Agree with the above and I am in the camp of standing pat. Why sign a tail end starter when we have plenty? Lets concentrate on the kids, afterall they are our future!
  2. As mentioned above: Chisox need a cather, 3rd baseman an outfelder, now second baseman. This team needs to learn to play defense and for some reason every year they dont. Did I mention, just as the Twins, they need to get key hits. Are they a better team after the last two days? Yes, Have they improved on a 73 win season to get 20 more wins to win the division? No just saying
  3. My Bro in Minnesnowta is a huge Sox fan, so he is excited. my thought on the Chisox? Much like the Twins, the Sox are in a rebuild mode, so why to you go out and get these players especially Robertson to a team that will not contend and needs no expensive closer? Now trading for Samarjick as a one year rental also makes no sense. Thats the Chisox side. Now the Twins, I truly hope the Twins do nothing in these meetings. My logic: As posted a few days earlier, I belive the Inn is full for starters for the Twins, true, some young kids, but we also are rebuilding with some great possibilities on the way. So why hinder one of our young Starting pitchers progress by signing a so so Free agent?
  4. As a Minnesota transplant that now lives in Florida, I enjoyed going to Miracle games and watching Berrios and Walker. I think in time they will be major league studs, one name though that is not to be ignored is Jorge Polanco. He can flat out pick it albeit with some errors, but I think that will get straightend out in time, so thats my vote.
  5. Nice read Nick, Like your headline reads, I believe their is no room in the Inn. I understand trying to improve your pitching but this team will not compete next year, perhaps the year after. By then the young guys will dictate what kind of starting staff you have. Then you can address your needs.
  6. I am totally, totally confused by this signing. It makes absolutely NO sense! OMG
  7. Interesting again. If I knew he was going to be THE thirdbaseman going forward and not Sano, I maybe would do something. Saying that, I would want to see another year like last year out of him.
  8. I probably am in this camp too. Lets wait a year. There really is no hurry.
