  1. IMO, a new mindset surrounding this time is necessary, at a bare bones minimum. The current one is clearly not working.
  2. Especially with an offense (and pitching) as utterly putrid as this team has.
  3. That tends to happen when facing a lineup as feeble as ours usually is.
  4. Kepler 0 for his last 28 at-bats. That's almost hard to imagine. And yet, we still keep running him out there.
  5. Just another in a long list of gut-wrenching losses this season. I suspect there will be more before the season ends.
  6. As much as I hate to think so, and I sure hope I'm wrong, I strongly suspect that your disappointment will hold through the rest of the game.
  7. Doesn't say much about us, does it? Even though it's only 3 games in the middle of the season.
  8. 14 runners left on base. Wow. That's difficult to imagine for most teams, save for the anti-clutch hitting prowess of the Twins. Thought I saw a comment earlier of 0 for 10 with runners in scoring position. If true, then we ended 0 for 16. That's even more difficult to imagine.
  9. Lost yet another eminently winnable game. UGGHH! Lost count how often that's happened this season.
  10. I'm guessing the powers that be don't see this as much of a problem because they clearly haven't tried to address it in any practical sense. Pretty sad, if you ask me, because it's so plainly obvious to a decent chunk of the fan base.
  11. Wow. A win that never really seemed in doubt. Haven't seen an abundance of those this season.
  12. Unless he does a complete 180 offensively fairly soon, I can almost envision that scenario happening.
