    Is this normal (touching 90,working upper 80s)? Are we looking at a best case scenario of Tommy Milone? Not saying that would be terrible from a left handed pitching prospect. I guess we would all be pretty happy if he turned into Tommy Milone right?

    I am going to have to respectfully disagree. Sure he will be a free agent in his 30's, but why would you trade a month for a full year? It isn't just bad for business, it is bad baseball. Sure, he might end up a reliever, or even flame out and be a nobody...but no team in the league starts rookies in April (minus Hicks which really turned out nicely).

    Why do people think that because Trout did better without Hunter, Hunter is not a good leader or mentor? How many mentors follow people around their whole life? I suppose Tony Dungy isn't a great mentor because Jim Caldwell won more games once Tony retired? Same dumb logic being used in the arguments above. Trout did better as a 21 year old than a 20 year old. I would equate that to growing (physically) and coming more into his prime years. I do not get the hate for Hunter as a leader? Some of the fallacies that have been thrown around are absolutely comical. Sure he isn't the best OF in the market, but it does make sense. We need a vet OF bat. The youngness won't be up for at least most of the season. The year, again, will be a wash and the chances of competing are slim. I am sick of rebuilding seasons as well, but the end is near depending upon the SP signing(s) this offseason.

    Plus Tori is going to stay with Twins in some capacity after his playing days. Maybe he goes on a rivera, jeter tour this season. Seattle and texaswere hard on him too.

    Why are we complaining about the money? So what? Terry still can go after pitching. It doesnt matter what or who is signed. No such thing as a bad one year deal am i right. It is an overpay sure, but it isnt YOUR money. Hunter can still hit some and will sell a lot of jerseys, tickets, and sweet commercials on fsn. I would rather have tori for 1 year than Cruz for 57 for 4. Rasmus? He and his dad are menaces and he is a poor teamate. This move, if added with another mid tier pitcher, would make this offseason a success. Quit complaining twins fans.

    One comment or possible request; I have been trying to listen to the podcast for a few years now. I really enjoy the Twins outtakes and even take the Twins Daily bashing #gleeman. But one thing I would really like, would be a timeline of what was talked about and how long. For instance: between 0:00- 0:20 we talked about absolutely nothing relevant to the Twins 0:21-0:45- actual Twins talk 0:46-0:51-John talks about food and beer...non baseball talk 0:52-1:00- Twins talk Do you get what I am saying? It is your podcast and some of it is really enjoyable. But I would like to know when brunch talk is over because no offense, I don't listen to the podcast because of the 'personalities.' I know some will say, 'You don't have to listen #keithlaw,' but I do really enjoy the Twins talk. I also listen to Talk to Contact and enjoy that they bs for first 2-5 minutes, and then go straight Twins for like 2 hours, awesome guys. Great podcast John and Gleeman (for the some-to-most-part).

    Sweet, I wish Sano would have been added too, but not so sure he is eligible being from Dominican and such. Is Sano even playing winter ball? Thought i saw something saying he was waiting until Spring training to participate? Any clarity on that?

    I would like to bold that last sentence and say: lets hope those are hard decisions. I pray that these three are worthy of big contracts and TR or whoever the next GM is has a tough decision.

    Is this thread for real? All anyone has to say is Matt Capps. Period (also Nishioka, trading away Gomez, trading JJ, trading for Garza...one of worst gm tenures ever).
