  1. He's striking out 41% of all batters faced as a 22 year old in AA. How is this pitch to contact? He is currently a good depth reliever for the Twins with the upside for more. It will be interesting to see how his stuff translates to the MLB.
  2. I think Rooker is a great pick. That dude can hit and he could move quickly. And hopefully sign for underslot.
  3. We have to get someone good with these underslot savings or this is a massive failure.
  4. Rooker can hit. I like it. I'd prefer hitters to pitchers anyway. Don't care about drafting for need.
  5. LaVelle E. Neal III‏Verified account @LaVelleNeal Following More The Twins clearly saved some bonus money by drafting Lewis. "We want to do something big at 35 and 37," Mike Radcliff said.
  6. Yeah, I know. Character/public relations, etc. is important, and drafting a registered sex offender and convicted child molester is the opposite of that. He is a 2nd/3rd round talent, but is that level of talent worth the headache and backlash? I think it isn't, and teams that have taken him off their draft boards would agree (more than 3, I think). But there are probably a few teams out there that are viewing this as an opportunity to add a decent prospect for a discounted rate. I say that without knowing his $ demands.
  7. It sucks that there is no talent at the top of this draft like a Harper or Strasburg. Not a great year to have the first overall pick but then again Moniak wasn't a stud 1st overall pick last year either.
