  1. Gimenez can't be much worse then what they have been trotting out there outside of Santana and Berrios, right? And that in itself is depressing.
  2. Driving from Kentucky to Minnesota, you see a lot of "Kansas" type scenery, but at least there is usually a Twins game at the end of the trip to brighten it up.
  3. Hoping for a win tonight! I read somewhere, likely in one of the threads here, that this season Santana has often followed a not so good start with a great one. Here is me hoping for a win tonight!
  4. I am hoping for a split given the starters that are going to be going this weekend. Given the way this season has been, if the games were in Cleveland I would be hopeful for 3 wins out of 4 but since it is at home that isn't as likely. Which can I take a moment to say how odd it is that they have such a good road record and have the worst home record?
  5. Unfortunately as has been said previously in the comments, I believe we are in for another year and a half of him. Hopefully we can see some adjustments to the shifts, however unlikely that is, which will at least force the defense to play a little less dramatic of a shift, which could help some of his line drives to left field fall. The question then becomes, what do the Twins do at the end of 2018? Does he get an offer of a one year deal or does he just retire? I'm almost more concerned about this than his hitting now, because as has been stated, he is here to stay for the next year and a half.
  6. A big congrats to May! Hopefully he comes up and continues what he is doing at Rochester (with some regression) and sets himself up nicely to be a part of next season's rotation! Also, a big congrats to Seth for the scoop!
  7. I completely agree with you Seth! This plan would, I believe, give a lot of the top pitchers in the system an opportunity to get their collective feet wet and see what we have for next year.
  8. Hopefully he tears up AA when he gets there and gets a September call-up for this year!
