I think this is how I'd go. Colorado is kind of misplaced but they don't really fit anywhere. Maybe adding a team in Charlotte or Nashville instead of Portland would make more geographic sense and then Colorado could slide west. I'd also allow teams to set their own ground rules as it regards DH / pitcher batting. Must be declared for entirety of season and then maybe required 2 years to change. I kind of think it's surprising you've got Michael so low because he's been very good when healthy the past two years. But based on pecking order and injury history, it's understandable. I think there's a fair shot he'll be starting at 2B for someone within a couple years. I think his bat will play at ML and he could be a good bottom of the order bat or maybe a traditional type #2 hitter.

If, as many had suggested, The Twins would have given some of these younger guys a chance earlier in the season, they might not be in this predicament. I truly believe the Twins have more than enough talent at ML and AAA to put together a very good pen without the need of outside help but they just haven't gone about it in a very smart manner. They seem as an organization to be too enamored with veterans to have ever fully accepted their fate as a rebuilding team and thus, a lot of guys have gotten stuck at AAA too long. Why not give guys like Tonkin, Oliveros, Achter etc a shot before they lose their mental edge and become AAAA fodder?
