  1. But will they actually cut him or will they continue to hope beyond hope that mediocre pitchers will somehow magically improve?
  2. Absolutely. Gordon's ability to be a utility player coupled with his improving skills, both offensively and defensively, make me so excited to see where he'll go this season.
  3. What would the Angels need from us to get him back? (Only half-joking.)
  4. Agreed. He's not a complete waste of space (like Sano ended up being). I'm also a little attached to the Twins' image as a team with a solid outfield.
  5. I truly hope Celestino can gather himself with some significant time to develop in St. Paul. Given Buxton will only continue to become less present in the field as he ages, having homegrown depth is nothing but good. But watching him last year was just painful at times; even with his rushed MLB premiere, it makes me wonder where the heck our fundamentals coaching is...
  6. Don't trade Gordon! He's a talent with more room to develop, a useful utility player, and his positive energy is infectious (a great counterbalance to almost-dour Rocco....).
  7. At this point, whatever happens, it happens. While I'd love to have someone with his baseball acumen around to balance out the buffoonery of Rocco et al., is it worth it to have another zillion years with Boras?
  8. The Twins on the radio with Herb Carneal pulled me in as a child. Now I compusively listen to broadcasts, regardless of the Twins' success, even when I'm at the best ballpark in the world.
  9. Thank you for expounding on the joys of the Twins Pass. Best investment of the year.
