  1. Yup he's a douche. I recently met a BEAUTIFUL young woman that had dated Jeter when she lived in NY. She didn't have anything nice to say about the guy and I'm not going to get into details, but Jeter isn't as clean cut as he would have you believe.
  2. The Twins way leaves something to be desired. Namely, A World Series Title. Either you're first or you're last. They should be focused on building a starting rotation that can give them a chance to win a world series should they reach the playoffs. Instead they build a team good enough to make the playoffs but they will never win once in the playoffs because you cannot pitch to contact against elite hitting teams! So in terms of playoffs success the Gardy/ traitor Terry/Twins Way is the worst. When it comes to beating crappy teams on the regular and MAKING the playoffs, it's pretty good.
  3. Cuddyer couldn't play the infield as well as Plouffe. This season Plouffe has looked like a 3B for the first time and I now have hope that he'll continue to improve his D at the hot corner. Trevor Plouffe is going to be an ALL-Star caliber hitter at some point. Hopefully it won't take him leaving the Twins and their "WAY" for his talents to flourish.
  4. It's pretty simple right now. No one is going to want him unless he starts to get his slug% up.
  5. It sure would be nice if Hendriks or Walters or Deduno or Henandez or somebody could step up and surprise everyone like Diamond did last year.
  6. Good grief he's not dead! He'll be back by July if not sooner.
  7. Well Twins fans I guess it was inevitable Arcia is being mentioned by national media as the only current AL Rookie worth mentioning as a possible Rookie of the Year candidate at the quarter mark of the young 2013 campaign. 9. If the best I could do were Correia and Pelfrey I'd resign. BOO
  10. There's much of these same grumblings coming from Angels fans about their own highly respected manager. So why don't the Twins and Angels swap managers. Each org. gets fresh blood and each org. gets a proven respected manager. If it doesn't work out just switch back! We'll call it musical managerial chairs.
  11. Will the real Twins base stealer please stand up? Not sure he can hear us from Philly.
  12. Mauer isn't a #3 hitter. #3 hitters have power. Roenicke is no surprise to me. Parmalee has had the best and most consistently good AB's in the 2 games in Baltimore. I heard a lot of negative comments about his play against Detroit but I'm not hearing any praise for his awesomeness the last 2 games.
  13. I really think this kid can be an elite player. I hope this gets figured out.
  14. I think all the teams in the central will be competitive except the Twins. I like Cleveland, KC, and Chicago's chances equally. If I had to pick just 1 who I think is most likely to challenge Detroit for the division I'd probably choose Chicago.
  15. thrylos98 do you have any thought on whether the Twins will or should go after Garland or possibly Chris Young?
