  1. I took my shirt off at the end of the 8th inning. I, too, deserve some credit.
  2. Everyone unclinch. The Twins won! We now have a 3.5 game lead in the Central!
  3. I am a new Twins fan this year, so I am lacking in the farm system, but is there not anyone better than Pagan in the farm to close the deal?
  4. Again, I ask, why do we have Pagan? He is not save-worthy and has not had a comfortable outing.
  5. Buxton catches that. Thankfully we have him under contract. Huge confidence booster for Miranda.
  6. Good afternoon/evening Twins fans and happy FriYay from wherever you may be! Today is a great day for some baseball. After a day of rest, the Twins are back in action to take on the Kansas City Royals on the road. The Twins have a record of 9-8 on the road this season while the royals have a home record of 8-12. News: Per Dan Hayes, Fox has picked up the Twins 6/25 home game against the Rockies, which has shifted first pitch from 1:10 PM to 6:15 PM. Game will not be televised on Bally Sports. Let's get to the pitching matchups. For your Minnesota Twins, Devin Smeltzer is taking the mound. His only appearance this season has been against the Guardians where he went 5 IP with 3 hits, 1 ER, 2 BB's, and 2 SO's. For the Kansas City Royals, they have Daniel Lynch out on the mound. Last outing for him, he went 5.1 IP, with 3 hits, 0 ER, 4 BB's, and $ SO's. This season, he is sitting at a 2-2 record with an ERA of 3.30 with 30 IP's, 26 hits, 11 ER's, 13 BB's, and 29 SO's. Today in baseball history: Requested by Cubs officials, policemen disguised as soldiers, farmers, and bootblacks raid the bleachers and arrest 24 fans for gambling in a game against the Phillies. Here are the Starting Lineups: Royals: Whit Merrifield RF Andrew Benintendi LF Bobby Witt Jr. SS Hunter Dozier DH MJ Melendez C Carlos Santana 1B Emmanuel Rivera 3B Nicky Lopez 2B Dairon Blanco CF Twins: Byron Buxton CF Carlos Correa SS Kyle Garlick DH Jorge Polanco 2B Gary Sanchez C Gio Urshela 3B Max Kepler RF Jose Miranda 1B Gilberto Celestino LF
  7. Is there a reason we have Pagan? Just curious. He seems more of a liability than an asset.
  8. This is the only situation i feel safe with Pagan on the mound
  9. My game bet: Chris Archer - 3+ strikeouts Arraez - 1+ Hit Buxton - 1+ Hit Parlay +135
  10. Good morning everyone! Who is ready for some Twins baseball? I will have to be honest with you all. This is my first season as a Twins fan. I live in Nashville and have never really been connected to a baseball team but have always loved to watch the sport. But, my girlfriend is from Minnesota (Shoutout St. Cloud) so this year I decided to be a Twins fan (pre Carlos Correa trade). I did go to a game last year and loved the ball park and the people I talked to. But, enough about me. Let's get to today's game. Today we will see Lucas Giolito take the mound for the bad guys and Chris Archer will take the mound for the good guys. Will Chris Archer have his top 3 buttons unbuttoned? Only time will tell. Arraez, Buxton, and Jeffers will be looking to continue their strong hitting performance from yesterday and Sano will be looking to end his slump after going 0-5 yesterday. Today is the last day of the series before an off day tomorrow. Will the Twins get the series sweep and go to 4 win in a row? Roster Updates: Per Aaron Gleeman, Alex Kirilloff (wrist) is expected to begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A St. Paul on Tuesday. Likely to play at least two games there, the first at designated hitter and the second in the field. On April 24 in Baseball History... 1901 - Chicago defeated Cleveland 8-2 in the first American League game. The game lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes in front of a reported crowd of 14,000 at the Chicago Cricket Club Here is today's starting lineups: White Sox: SS Tim Anderson RF AJ Pollock C Yasmani Grandal DH Jose Abreu 1B Gavin Sheets LF Andrew Vaughn 2B Leury Garcia CF Adam Haseley 3B Danny Mendick SP Lucas Giolito Twins: CF Byron Buxton DH Luis Arraez 2B Jorge Polanco RF Max Kepler 3B Gio Urshela LF Trevor Larnach SS Nick Gordon 1B Miguel Sano C Jose Godoy SP Chris Archer
