  1. Take Dedunos stats in July and August, yes he was injured later and suffered statistically but in July and August he was our best pitcher
  2. keep your stats, keep your pitchers, but we will be laughing stock of league again, if Deduno is in Rotation, we will have a chance to win every time he pitches, is there a stat for that?
  3. SD will never be a reliever for the all the reasons stated above.....
  4. DOMINICAN WINTER LEAGUE Player of the Week – Samuel Deduno, RHP Deduno made one start this week. The right-hander threw six shutout innings. He gave up just four hits, walked one and struckout nine. In 20.2 innings so far in the DWL, he has given up no runs on 13 hits. He’s walked nine, but he has struckout 26.
  5. yes he had an eye problem and hid it, if you havent seen how well he is doing in WInter ball, what sources are you searching, try Seth Stohs
  6. ;but lets hear from the guy who knows the most about his pitching...his catcher Doumit “He fits the mold of an effectively wild pitcher,” continued Doumit. “He’s always going to be like that.“He’s always going to be a high-walk, high-strikeout kind of guy, but if he can harness it, you don’t see too many pitchers with natural movement like that, and it’s a testament to him.”
  7. the problem is, he is virtually uncatchable, but if Im the twins, I find a way to solve those problems,
  8. Did you guys watch the same Sam Deduno I did? This guy is dominant, has phenomenal stuff, yes he is going to walk lots of people, but this also makes him virtually unhittable....the real problem with Deduno is that he might also be uncatchable, I know the catchers hate to catch him, that is a GREAT! sign... Get over yourselves...Deduno does not fit the mold of the "Traditional" pitcher and there in lies the problem, the Twins staff and evidently fans, get hung up on the traditional but you can not apply that to Deduno...he is not tradiional...the guy is a great pitcher who can beat anybody, anytime, and he can lose to anybody anytime too..I get that... Lets not make the same mistake we made with Cy Knuckles...ok? Deduno is better than any pitcher we have added with the possible exception of Worley who has major question marks...if we are not going to compete in 2013 let Deduno work out the kinks, the most exciting pitcher in baseball This quote just kills me, " It was quite clear last year that none of those players had what it took to start in the majors" Go back and watch Deduno dominate and then tell me this again.

  10. Can someone please give in depth analysis?
  11. Can someone please give in depth analysis?
  12. No, never.....from that comment, I assume you have, please enlighten me, I know I can be wrong and am bad about forming first impressions, so if you know diffferently, please lay it out
  13. Does anybody need competition more than Trevor Plouffe? Anybody else struggling like he is, would not be playing. I know this wont happen, but I would love to see the Twins bring up D Romero from New Britain and let Plouffe watch a lot of baseball. Plouffe seems very arrogant to me, like it doesnt matter, he has the thumb injury to blame it on...just wait until he recovers....and wait...and wait.... Sit him please, he needs a major attitude adjustment!
