    I think that perspective is taught a lot in high level baseball - catchers need to really know their pitchers off the field to better understand them and call the best game on the field. I say that because, as a Wichita State fan, I know Eric Wedge preaches it. He was quoted in a local article last year talking about it. Interesting perspective that I never thought of!
