  1. Kimes got cut. Baxendale will be used as a starter, he was limited to the Bullpen last year because of how much he was used at Arkansas
  2. Baxendale is a starter, just used as a Bullpen guy last year because he reached his innings limit
  3. In other news, I just got my Packers playoff tickets in the mail
  4. The 2 trades are not logical. The Marlins do not want 2 average minor leaguers for JJ. They were asking for the house from Texas and other teams that acquired at the deadline. The Rangers would not deal a future ace for an aging first baseman who cannot stay healthy.
  5. Mauer is the only thing keeping fans in Seats. If I were the Twins, I would trade everybody but Mauer, and make Mauer feel as if he had no option but to demand a trade by going so young. At that point Joe realizes the Twins are going a different direction, and the Twins trade him for spects. The next time the Twins have a chance to compete is when Arcia,Sano,Rosario are up in the majors together. BJ Hermsen will likely be up net year and could be a #2 or #3 at a pitchers friendly ballpark.
  6. It was not the Twins, it was Texas. Texas tried to own Clinton, but a deal felt through because they did not see enough potential for growth of the fan base (which is approx.26 K people) and enough projected revenue over the next 6 years in Clinton. It is very Easy to see why Beloit would be attractive in a Similar Scenario to the Rangers. Over 100K people between Beloit and Janesville, and the Snappers have not advertised at all in the offseason. A new Stadium would revive Beloit, but has been held up because of donors re allocating the amount of money to other organizations after the Stadium was not going to be put in the location that the big donors wanted.
  7. The Twins are done with Beloit.......I have herd that a team is interested in Owning the Beloit franchise with an agreement to have a new stadium up by the time they get the All Star game in 2020. The Snappers board is not interested in doing a 2 year go around as a stop gap. George Spelius is getting old and he has said for the last 5 years that by the time he is dead, there will be a new team in Beloit. Beloit has 36K people, roughly 10K more than Clinton and Burlington. If the Twins are actually looking for a stop gap until St.Paul, that would be Burlington. Burlington has had the lowest attendance for the last 20 years in the MWL. If the St.Paul plan does work Burlington will lose their franchise.
  8. Too many people who have never seen a MILB game before try to act like experts just because they can look at box scores.
  9. CR is the likely destination, they are the only city in the Western MWL that offers a direct flight from minneapolis. The Twins are all but done with Beloit.
  10. Thing about Sano is that he has a good arm, so f If they decide that 3rd isn't the spot for him I think they have to move him to Right Field and see if he could manage RF every day before considering to move him to 1st.
  11. Niko will be in Beloit next year to start, and Max will be here early in May
  12. Sano is hitting 216 in his last 10 games , Rosario is batting 162 in his last 10 games. Why they arent on your list is mind-blowing
  13. Hermy got sent to Fort Myers today. The twins tend to play their milb guys a level higher then where they will start, last year Beloits MILB roster had Kepler,Sano,Rosario,Goodrum,Wimmers guys that were likely to be in Beloit THIS year. Rosters are starting to trickle out, and I herd that the MILBERS will be told where they are going tomorrow, on Chris Herrman's twitter he posted that he will be headed to New Britain. All the MILB rosters will be out on Friday!!!!. Can't wait....
  14. is there any confirmed source that MadBoer will be a starter? He won APPY league Reliever of the year, so it baffles me that the Twins would move him to start.
  15. Just a lil note Victor Roache projected top 10 pick broke his wrist and is likely out for the year, which means he could fall into the Twins laps at a comp pick.
  16. If he was in College, maybe. No way he makes it to the majors within 2 years. The twins keep their higschoolers and Younger signees in the low levels for a long time.
  17. Ill be in Beloit for just about every game, if u wanna meet up just lmk
  18. I honestly don't know how anyone has hicks in the top 3 anymore, the Top 2 are unanimous (Sano and Rosario) with Arcia holding a firm grip on #3. After 3 It could go anywhere. also think Pat Dean is too high for such a bad season. --JT--
  19. The season is almost here, Can't wait for opening day in Beloit, this is going to be a great year to be following the Midwest League. During the Season me and my brother will be posting extensive game reviews as well as photos that we took at the game. I am currently 18 and will be going to school to major in Photo journalism. I would like to thank Jonathan Mayo, Danny Wild,Chris Mehring, and Shawn Tooney to help out a promising year.
