I initially had strong feels about the Correa signing elsewhere but this has been such a mess that it is probably impossible in the short term whether or not the Twins or another team would be smart to reach a long-term deal with Correa. -

Was really hoping for a Correa signing. However, I think this signals a change in ownership philosophy. Time to pivot to Rodon. I would rather have him than Dansby Swanson.

As with every other Twin, it seems that his health is a concern. That being said, you could probably get him at a discount for that fact. Billionaire money isn't real, so who cares! -
This is the exact thing an ownership group tells a columnist before they make a "competitive" offer. We'll see if its anywhere near what Correa expects.
