    Thanks for your mostly encouraging analysis. Is there a chance that we could put Derek Law on the 40 man and send Stashak to the minors to begin the season? I think that Thorpe has thrown well enough this spring to put him in the Bullpen on opening day, even if he gets a fourth option. Finally, what are you doing with Dobnak? You listed him first as 'depth' in your starting pitcher analysis, but if Happ is ready to go opening day (or five days later), are you suggesting sending Randy to St. Paul to start the season? Go Twins!

    It was great to see the Twins back in action with the guys who are locks on the 26 man roster showing a great deal of confidence and ability to a man. I have one issue that I have to bring up about Sano. In the second (of two) chances taking first on a ground ball, it looked like the foot that was supposed to go on the bag ended up on the foul side of the bag. I thought to myself that this is a sure fire way to get injured. Can we hope that either someone from the Twins brass will read this post and talk to Miguel, or that someone saw what I saw and will work with him on this issue PRONTO?

    Had the Twins signed Wheeler, Keuchel or Baumgarner as free agents instead of trading for Maeda, would we have felt better because it would have meant that we would have been able to keep Graterol? We will miss not having him on the team, but IMHO, the FO has shown intelligence, patience and savvy to put the Twins in a serious Win Now position for 2020 by securing Donaldson and Maeda instead of the semi-'impact' pitcher that they originally had on their radar. There is even plenty left in the farm system to upgrade at the trade deadline if that would make a World Series run a distinct possibility. I trust Falvey and Levine to do it right, and each transaction is a gamble (which I believe is worth taking). I would give the Twins' FO an A.
