    I just have this feeling. I see him being a top 5ish mvp candidate in 2020. I am also very bullish on Berrios flirting with 20 wins and being a Cy Young candidate. I hope to look back and say yes, I was correct. Win Twins!

    Even if he starts half the season with the above numbers which are fantastic, we also know he is solid to really good out of the bullpen. Great addition Twins.

    Just imagine if we had traded our last 3 top pitching prospects for a mid rotation starter...ie..Gonsalez, Stewart,Romero. Great move, win now and have a controlable veteran starter.

    I love how we are going for it! Havnt been this excited for spring training in awhile and I go to Fort Myers every year for 9 years. I dont understand how a poster compared acquiring him to how the Indians acquired Kluber at a much younger age...shaking my head on some of these posts. That being said, the writers/authors are amaizing. My opinion, nothing more...our FO is trying to put us in a position to make it to the series while securing us the chance to be really good over next few years. Sooo excited!

    I am confused here. First the author states, its unrealistic for Rocco to aggressively limit Bailey and and Pineda pitching threw the lineup a third time. Then the following paragraph he states we are lucky to be able to aggressively limit those two pitchers pitching to the lineup a third time threw. Completely contradictory statements.

    Just out of curiosity, why dont some like the term bombas? I find it catchy...but curious to other thoughts.

    I keep reading from many posters..Rocco will use him as an opener) I just dont...in any way...the Twins doing this. We have never shown any ambition to using an opener...I just dont see this happening, but so many posts about it happening

    Let's us remember that availibilty is a top ability. He has been solid to very good with no health issues. Always ready to take the ball and pitch an effective inning or 2.

    To hope and wait and pray for Snell is not a winning strategy. Most likely Tampa will be in the hunt. Second I believe a rookie pitcher will step up. If we could acquire a pitcher comp to Odorizie...look out!

    Honestly, I believe in Garver. Not saying he will replicate last years production per AB. But, I've been watching him for a few years. I see a top 5 catcher at minimum in 2020 in 120+ games started.

    How can we take any of this seriously when there are folks on here that won't give up Larnach for Archer. All credibility is lost IMO. Archer at worst would be a #3 with upside for a outfielder 2 years away. Do people just post absurd random takes on here sometimes? I am truly asking this question.

    Most of the long term free agent signings stated above were for 5 to 8 year contracts. Not comparing apples to apples there. I agree. Excuses from the FO
