  1. Julien had better numbers at AA than a very good Twins hitter. Compare Julien number to Mauer when he was in AA. Verisimilar if not better than Joe's. I hope he is better than Joe MLB numbers also!
  2. What would he cost? They don't need left-handed Outfielder He has good numbers. He would be #2 starter. With 3 years control I believe. Would or Could we swap Sonny Gray and 3 high upside lower minor prospects? I don't want to give Sonny Gray 3 year and 57 million or 4 years and 70 million
  3. https://www.mlb.com/news/liam-hendriks-trade-talk-free-agents-winter-meetings?partnerID=mlbapp-android_article-share I think we could line up on a trade with White Soxs. They need RF and Left-handed hitter. We have Larnach we could swap for All-Star Closer.
  4. https://www.mlb.com/news/liam-hendriks-trade-talk-free-agents-winter-meetings?partnerID=mlbapp-android_article-share I think we could line up on a trade with White Soxs. They need RF and Left-handed hitter. We have Larnach we could swap for All-Star Closer. View full rumor
  5. I think we could improve bullpen by trading Larnach to Chicago White Soxs. I heard they are shopping Liam Hendricks. They need payroll relief. They need a RF and Left-handed hitter for their lineup. We need a shut down bullpen. This would be a win win trade. We can afford Hendrick salary for next 2 years. I know teams in same decision rarely make trades to help each other. But this deal makes sense for both teams. Do you agree?
  6. I am ok if we don't trade him. However he should never hit higher that 7th in the lineup. Lots of teams with deep lineup wouldn't hit him higher than 8th. I love his defense but has seemed like a automatic out more often than not. Rocco would hit him 4,5,6 because he is Left-handed. He should hit in bottom 3rd of lineup.
  7. Sign Haniger to a 3 year deal: 12.5, 13.5, and 15 each year. 41 million Total. He can platoon with Larnach/ Walner for RF and DH. These 3 are way more offense than Kepler!
  8. I would be ok with this offer! Maybe remove opt out after year 1, we want him around for 2 years. Also we sign Correa to 10/325. With opt outs at 3,5, and 7 years. We could free up money by trading Kepler, signing Sandy Leon for cheap 2nd Catcher. Payroll under 160 million. Print the World Series tickets.....
  9. Kepler/ German Marquez trade and include Dobnak to balance 8.5 vs 11 million. Marquez has large splits, away number in 2nd half way better than at Coord Field. But who do you bump from rotation for Marquez?
  10. Catcher Korey Lee sound like a option. Don't think we getting #7 in Astros prospects for Kepler.
  11. I like Navarez a lot and since we have the funds, I would even go 2 yrs and 11-13 million Total. Ledt handed and great 60-65% platoon with Jeffers
  12. Just sign Correa to the 9year 324 million deal already. Add that to last year and it like he got the 10year deal we wanted for 359 million.
  13. Maybe Tucker Barnhart at Catcher again good defense and left handed to platoon Jeffers. Both should hit 9th. Barnhart shouldn't be to expensive.
  14. I like trading Polanco, Kepler, and Urshela to restock the minor league system. I also think adding hanniger as a free agent [2yrs and 25 million] will definitely help add a right handed outfield Bat. Also would like Correa back, think [8yrs 292 million] with opt outs after year 2,4,6. To sweeten the deal. Then sign Rodon for [4yrs 108 million] opt out after year 2. Should put payroll around 150 million. Sandy Leon for part time Catcher fine with me good defense and will Bat 9th, just like Jeffers should. Like Juilen at 2B. And batting 2nd behind Arraez. They both could. Be 375-400 on base guys, Correa hits 3rd so he can get RBI"s with those 2 on base ahead of him. Then Buxton 4th, he don't use his speed anymore anyway. Your Thoughts?
  15. I would like Chaffin on a 2yr 17million deal as another left. Maybe not work Thielbar so hard and ofter
  16. Maybe in a few years, we have a few good minor league CF from what I have read online.
  17. Maybe give opt outs at 3, 5, and 7 in this contract. Will also probably need no trade clause to get it done.
  18. Make the 9 for 324 million to Correa. He can play great SS for 5-6 more years. Then move to 3B. Then start signing core of young players to long term semi team friendly years like the Braves. We could build a good team for years to come. GoTwins!
  19. Penn Murfee (reliever, help bullpen), Abraham Toro (2b / Utility help) and Bryce Miller (Great Fastball & Slider) Twins love Sliders, would add to bullpen, utility guy, and prospect with upside for Polanco and Cole Sands. We actually have numerous starters, and still could sign Rodon to be #1 for 135 million for 5 yrs. use Correa and Polanco money. Then trade Noah Miller) play with his older brother) and Sean Mooney to Cleveland for Rosario, they won't pay him 9 million in arbitration. Then sign Rosario to 2yr contract for 24 million or so. Costing 1/3 of Correa. Brooks Lee should be ready in 2 yrs.
  20. Julien and Arrarez hitting 1-2 would make for a ton off RBI chances. Both OnBase machines. Arraez hitting and Julien with 100 walks
  21. Think Seattle needs a 2nd baseman and they do have starting pitching they could deal. Could we get a young controllable starter for Polanco? I would do this trade. Bring back Urshela, play Miranda at 1B. Give Arraez one more shot at 2nd if Julien is not ready at start of season. Could also find minot leaguer to trade maybe Austin to Cleveland for Rosario to play SS. They won't pay him 9 million thru arbitration. Then we use Polanco money for SS. We have Correa money for number 1 starter. Since Twins won't do 300+ million for Correa anyway. Thoughts?
