    Every win without Buxton feels like house money. Somebody needs to tell Jake Cave to quit trying be a hero out in the field. Don't need to replace Byron, just play clean baseball.

    Thought Mejia's outing was very encouraging. Mid-90s with the fastball, threw his off-speed pitches for strikes. 3.1 innings of one run ball is as good as you can ask for in that situation. Also very encouraged by Sano's last few games at the plate. Whatever Rowson is doing seems to be having an impact.
