  1. I have wondered about Zack Little being stretched out and considered as a rotation option. He pitched well as a reliever this year, but had significant success in his minor league career as a starter! He is only 24, and in my view may be the best internal option for the 2020 starting rotation? Phil
  2. Great article! Lets not pay up for historic excellence!!! I see Littlell, Bodnak and Smeltzer as all having significant potential as mid-level starters, with Little having the most potential based on extensive success and innings in the minors! I have not seen whether the Twins are thinking about stretching him out for a trial as a starter?
  3. I would let Cron go, Move Polanco to 3rd, as it is an easier defensive position that SS where he was one of the lowest ranked defensive players in MLB. Short could be picked up, by one of three people in our system Adrianza, Nick Gordon, or even soon by Royce Lewis. This plan saves more money for starting pitching! Phil
  4. Polanco was one of the lowest ranked defensive shortstops in the majors. I have seen suggestions of moving Sano to first base, and Polanco to third (a less demanding defensive position which leaves an opening at shortstop? Even with Royce Lewis's great Arizona Fall League results, he probably needs a little time at AAA. I am not clear on Adrianza's work defensively as a shortstop, but I recall he put in a lot of games there last year during Polanco's suspension. He had the best year in his career at the plate with an OPS of 765. Could he hold up fairly well while we wait for Royce? Phil
  5. Any thoughts that Cody Stashak who seems to be the most effective reliever at AAA Rochester might deserve consideration in the top 40? Having a very good year between Pensacola and Rochester, very few walks good WHIP. Possibly soon with the Twins to replace Minor??
