    That and it was a chilly night game on a Monday. Not exactly a prime outdoor MPLS viewing situation. If they keep winning once school gets out and the weather warms up I can see Target Field starting to fill up more.

    Damn that was fun to watch! This might be the type of game that people point to as "boring" because there aren't gobs of homers but man that was great. The two starters throwing slime in a tight game was great to watch but Jolly Rogers coming in and keelhauling through the 8th was fantastic.

    It's a long season. I have no problem with resting some guys against Verlander and a hot Astros team on a rain-delay-shortened-schedule. I get that watching them write off the game before it even starts is tough to get behind as a fan but given their options I think it was the right move. We'll see when we start this homestand anyway.

    Perhaps he was still thinking today would be a "Bullpen day" and wanted to save Rogers arm to get a few innings out of him? Not sure bringing him in to face one batter would affect that though...

    Duffey was rooouuugghhhh, looked shook out there. Hildy had an uncharacteristically bad inning as well... But those things will happen to a middling bullpen like ours, I'm kind of glad they fell apart against a team like Houston instead of a much more beatable squad like anyone in the AL Central.
