    He isn't there, yet. He has all the tools to be the best player in baseball. I think he just has to stay healthy this year and we will see him win the MVP. He is the best defensive centerfielder in the game and his bat is looking elite when he is on the field.

    Great article, except he couldn’t have graduated from GFW in 1979, the school wasn’t formed until 1987.

    With the Twins having several Boras clients as either prospects or young players, this deal should help with future negations regarding those other clients.

    I agree, we need to go with the young guys till we find a permanent replacement. Spend money on pitching.

    Why pull Ober after 4, pitch count wasn’t high, he was doing well. Roco mismanaged the pen again.

    If the Twins can't sign Buxton longterm I think they should start the fire sale. The other central teams are getting better, and the Twins don't seem to have the pitching to contend. There are arms in the system and trading top assets like Berios and Buxton ( this offseason is probably a better time to trade him) should net some more top arms to help out.

    The washed up pitcher reclamation projects are one of the main reasons for this seasons failure.

    I don't trust the MLB.com ranking of prospects, they still have Wander in the top 10. That shows an absolute lack of knowledge of the Twins system.

    Hopefully Duran and Balozovic get the call, those two for sure need the reps. Would like to see another top pitching prospect or two added.

    This short season could really help Berios, we shouldn’t see his 2nd half fade with no second half.

    This would be a good way to build the team. I would switch Polanco and Arraez, Polanco's arm isn't good enough for third base.

    My guess, Cruz wins it for DH, but Sanchez gets it over Garver since he is a Yankee and has a few more home runs.

    I think Rosario needs to be dropped in the order, and I'd rather see Arraez hitting leadoff.

    I would the live the Twins to get a top of the rotation arm, I just don’t think Syndegaard is that anymore, the asking price doesn’t sound reasonable.

    I would like to see a high ceiling college pitcher taken, granted I'm nowhere near a draft expert. There is a reason I'm commenting here on TD rather than whispering my pick into Falvey's ear!

    After reading the whole article, I think you were wrong on a couple players and what their actual value was. Jonathan Schoop bet on himself with a one year deal, after a horrible year, he was never, nor would he have historically received a larger contract after the season he had. Martin Perez has never been a good MLB pitcher, and no one would have given him a larger contract this year or ever with his performance.
