Last week I used this space to tell you what Twins Daily is. Today, I’d like you to tell me what Twins Daily should become.

Let me tell you a secret: a lot of the time, we don’t really know what we’re doing. That’s actually good news, as it has forced us to try stuff, from podcasting in a bar to publishing e-handbooks to t-shirts to pub crawls to live hangouts to the new videos you’ll see in our minor league updates.

As the postseason rolls on, we're getting closer to the World Series, and you know what that means: Offseason Handbook Day is almost upon us! (Preorders will receive their copies next Tuesday.)

Today, we're excited to bring you a couple of big updates, including our star-studded list of guest contributors.

Baseball may be America's pastime, but for Cuba, the Dominican Republic, or any central and southern American countries, baseball is a lifestyle that runs through the blood of many players who come to America to play. Tony-O was born with that blood and because of a good teammate and a chance meeting, Tony became one of the best Twins players to play the game.

Question: What would you do if you found Scott Erickson, Jacque Jones, Mike Pagliarulo, Tim Laudner or Dave St. Peter in your Holiday Stocking? Answer: Let them out. Make some nog. Maybe call 911. There is no wrong answer.

The new Twins Daily is certainly a work in progress (as is any living project) but given the number of new features and reshuffled user experience elements, I thought it might help to jot down a few of the biggest differences between the old Twins Daily and the new site.

First, we’ll talk about the various sections of the site: some old, some new.

This is the second Twins Daily primer article – the first being the basics of the new Twins Daily – and today, we’ll focus on the user blog experience. How it has changed, how it hasn’t changed, and how to get the most out of your blogging experience on Twins Daily. Even some of the veteran bloggers might want to take a look at these tips, as a few things have changed with the new system.

Time is short, but there are a number of small developments in Twins Daily’s community as stories, interaction and new visitors all seem to be trending in positive directions. Let’s jump in.

The World Series has come to an end. The Boston Red Sox are celebrating. And now we all can celebrate the arrival of a new offseason with its infinite possibilities.

It's a new year! We're heading into 2017, and in a couple of months Twins Daily will celebrate its five-year anniversary.

Whether you're a longtime community member or relatively new, we felt this might be a good time to brush up on some of the site's features and functionalities you may not be aware of, or taking full advantage of.

Having something special to share with your closest friends and family is part of what makes traditions so unique. As women, typically brunch, manicures, shopping, and trips to Mexico are all a part of what "women do" to spend time together, but there is something more special and unique than just your' average female' - that's the female baseball fan.

On Thursday afternoon, the Twins won the final game of their three-game series at Kaufmann Stadium in Kansas City. The offense wasn’t good at all, but that’s been the biggest theme of the first two weeks of the season. Here are a few thoughts from this week’s Series loss to the Royals.

Freaking out has commenced behind the scenes at Twins Daily this week. Some new partnerships and the interest in the team has kicked off some stunning growth. When one starts a Twins-focused web site in 2012, just as the bottom falls out, it’s natural to wonder what can happen when the team finally rights the ship. It’s also natural that seven years later, one has completely forgotten that can happen. But we’re seeing it, so I’m going to vary the order of this week’s report to call out some exciting developments.
