On Friday night, the Minnesota Twins lost to the Chicago White Sox. The loss was their 103rd of the season, “besting” their 102-loss season in 1982.

So what do you think? Is this the worst team in Minnesota Twins history?

I mean, if you go by record alone, then the answer became “Yes” on Friday night. There are two games left. They could still lose two more games and end with 105 losses.

The Twins are in first place, but where would they be sans Miguel Sano and Ervin Santana? Sano has established himself as one of the primary candidates to finish as the runner up to Mike Trout for AL MVP (yep, pretty confident we can already call that one). While Santana's peripherals don't stack up against guys like Chris Sale, he'd still be a contender for AL Cy Young right now.

Improvement was the story of the 2017 Minnesota Twins. From 103 losses to 85 wins; from worst team in baseball to a postseason berth. It was a year-to-year jump like none we've ever seen in this franchise's history.

Many different players contributed to this seismic upswing with their own individual progressions, making this first Twins Daily Award a tough one. As you'll see, there was plenty of diversity on the ballots, but in the end, one player stood out as a fairly clear choice.

It’s big, four-game series that kicks off tonight in the Bronx as the Twins and Yankees go to battle in a series that could really help the Rays.

Everyone is kind of numb in Twins Territory right now after the weekend in Tampa. If you look at it correctly… it can make you kind of proud. Contributing to charity should make you feel good because there are people out there who really need our help. The Rays came into the weekend 5-13 and now they have hope at 8-13.
