Frustrated, cord-cutting Twins fans unable to watch the Twins on Bally Sports with their current streaming or satellite package will soon have another option to catch the action on their TV- for a price.

It was three-and-a-half weeks ago that General Manager Terry Ryan announced that manager Ron Gardenhire would not be returning to his job in 2015, and we still don’t know who will be guiding the Twins on the field next season.

But we’re getting closer.

The Twins dropped to second place for the first time since June, but the team is having a call to action. With 52 games to go, it's time to band together and enjoy the ride of the 2022 season.

Our hope was to be watching a division race between the Twins and Indians unfolding in earnest right now.

We're not, so instead I have dictated this fictional contest between the Twins team from the movie Little Big League (1994) and the Indians team from Major League (1989), as called by radio play-by-play man Wally Holland (John Gordon's character in LBL).

This is either my greatest or dumbest idea yet. Likely both.

Major League Baseball’s postseason should be a time where the best moments are created by the players. From game-winning home runs to strong pitching performances, the players and these key moments should be what fans remember. Unfortunately, the calls made by umpires can overshadow baseball’s best moments and this was seen throughout the playoffs.

Changes are coming to baseball and "robot umpiring" might not be that far away.

The offseason has gone far differently than fans or likely the Twins had hoped. After missing on Correa and many of the impact free agents, options are dwindling. One option that simply cannot be considered is rebuilding.

A pair of Twins pitchers ventured outside the organization this winter for their offseason training. Now that we’re finding out a bit more of what they’d been working on, what could it mean for 2023?

If you didn’t stay up last night to watch the ninth inning of the Twins blowout 13-6 win over the Texas Rangers (hey, we’re not judging), you missed a little in-game drama. Jake Cave hit a 3-0 pitch for a single, violating an unwritten rule in a blowout win, and teammate Max Kepler paid the price. The Minnesota Twins' front office is going to be faced with making some difficult decisions this offseason-- decisions they are woefully ill-prepared to make.

Many professional sports organizations change their on-field management at least as often as they change accounting firms. It's just part of the way they do business. When you lose more games than you win for a couple years in a row, you change managers/head coaches and even front office leadership. It just becomes second nature. Much the way swimming becomes second nature to anyone who has spent much time in the water.
