Ticket pricing

I didn't pay any attention over the offseason, but I just looked and the Twins are selling weekday tickets for as low as $6 through the end of April. Looks like I will be at every game in April without having to worry what stubhub says. Gotta be a few 70 degree days in there too.

Demand based pricing. They actually started it in 2011, however they had limits as to how high and how low they would allow the pricing to go. It looks like we are now running without limits.

In theory, if the weather looks good and demand picks up because of it, in the days leading up to a home stand, the pricing will increase along with the increased sales of tickets. Interesting to see if the pricing change daily even during the day. If all sections will change price in unison or if select areas of the park will see increases while other don't. Will sections in the sun see increases in price during day games, while sections in the shade drop?

If you see a great price. Buy the tickets.

The nice thing is my ideal weather is 55-60 and clouds. I love a chance of rain too so I can go to stubhub and sit in the dugout box for around $25.

I know opening day tickets have been on sale for a while now but does anyone know when the rest of the season goes on sale?

There are a lot of really good seats left for opening day. I wonder if the Twins are worried that will be a precursor to things to come if they don't start winning.

I think it was Feb 22. I know the $18 seats are very close to selling out for opening day, They really aren't marketing opening day tickets which indicates to me they won't have any trouble selling it out. As for the flex pricing I would imagine the goal is to do whatever it takes to get 30,000+ almost every night and make money on concessions. $6 seats are hard to pass up and it appears there are thousands of seats at under $10 if nothing changes.
