JUSTIN MORNEAU’S WINTER WARM-UP COAT DRIVE

 

MINNETONKA, MN – For the fourth consecutive year Justin Morneau is sponsoring a Winter Warm-Up Coat Drive to benefit the homeless and less-fortunate throughout the Metro area. Those wishing to participate should bring new or gently used winter coats to Fan HQ in Ridgedale Center now through November 30th. Coats collected will be distributed in the Twin Cities' area by The Salvation Army Harbor Light Center.

 

Fans donating coats at Fan HQ will receive a photo personally signed by Justin Morneau (one per winter coat donated). To conclude the coat drive, Morneau will make a personal appearance at Fan HQ on Saturday, November 30^th from 10 a.m.-Noon.

 

"No family should have to worry about keeping warm, especially during the holiday season," Morneau said. "We wanted to do our small part in making a difference this holiday season by helping any way that we could. It's always been a passion for my wife and I to give back to this wonderful community that's been so generous to us throughout my playing career."

 

Media outlets wishing to film or record during Morneau’s personal appearance should contact Ridgedale Center in advance at 952-541-4864. Justin will hold a brief question and answer session with all media in attendance at approximately 10 a.m..
